VIP Believes that each Family Deserves an Affordable Place to Call Home

In 1991, VIP introduced the Valley Community Revitalization Project, or Valley CORP, in Maryvale.  Many low-income families became homeowners in once-vacant homes in west Phoenix, fulfilling their American Dream and stabilizing the neighborhood.

Today, VIP is still working to help families preserve that America Dream.  In 2009, West valley leaders organized to bring Bank of America to negotiate with a cohort of our families.  VIP is working with the AZ Department of Housing, local governments and other partners to press for real assistance to families with troubled mortgages, to stabilize affected families and neighborhoods.
