Workforce Development

Arizona Career Pathways (ACP) (click here for more info) is a workforce development intermediary program that responds to the needs of both Phoenix Metro workers and employers.  Arizona Career Pathways was established by the Valley Interfaith Project (VIP)  to serve unemployed and under-employed low income adults.  The creation of this program is a result of the efforts of VIP Leaders to secure funding through the U.S. Department of Labor.

With the help of collaborative partnerships with the Maricopa County Community Colleges and business and industry leaders, Arizona Career Pathways defines the necessary skills to succeed in hard-to-fill occupations, and  recruits, trains and prepares skilled workers to meet industry needs.
